Amit’s experience spans the design and engineering consulting space, with a focus on Product Development, Project and Plant Engineering, Design & Asset Lifecycle Management, and the creation and implementation of enabling governance, business models, change management, program management, and solutions leveraging people, processes, and computer-aided design & engineering digital toolsets that allow transformation, collaboration, and the next generation of lean thinking, innovation, agility, and optimization across the engineering and design value chain.

Prior to joining Tata Consulting Engineers, Amit headed Atkins India Pvt. Ltd., part of the global engineering and design firm WS Atkins PLC, and ran its Global Design Centre of Excellence and India business, spanning Energy, AEC, Rail, Transportation, Aerospace, Water & Environment, and infrastructure-related engineering consulting.

Amit joined Atkins in London, UK, where he was working with Infosys. At Infosys, Amit spent a decade spearheading the Engineering & Design, Product Lifecycle Management, and Embedded Systems offerings for clients across the globe, spanning sectors ranging from Automotive, Aerospace, Retail, and Energy to Heavy Engineering, Agrochemicals, Pharmaceuticals, and High-Tech.

Currently at TCE, Amit is working closely with the team to chart TCE's growth, scale, and evolution into an innovative and leading D&E consultancy across selected sectors and international markets, leveraging its 50 years of proven excellence and track record.
