Avenue Super marts Limited has a large chain of one-stop supermarket chain that offers customers all types of home and person utilities under one roof. Each DMart store stocks home utility products - including food, toiletries, beauty products, garments, kitchenware, bed and bath linen, home appliances and more.

All the above portfolios are developed while keeping in mind the Triple Bottom Line of the development: people, profit & environment.

It is based on this concept the overall design of the store is developed. The principles of Eco vision are not limited to office design but also to the overall functioning of the store and the practices set there in.

Project Highlights

  • Use of energy efficient systems including lighting, HVAC etc
  • All the refrigerants in the HVAC systems are CFC & HCFC free.
  • Solar carports have been adopted for parking of cars in few projects of DMart.
  • Solar PV is installed to generate energy and reduce the electricity load in few of the DMart stores.
  • 45% water savings than conventional water consumption
  • Waterless urinals are installed in the washrooms of few stores to reduce municipal water consumption.
  • Use of Green Chemicals for maintenance
  • No smoking policy adopted for better health and well-being of the occupants
